Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager with expertise in Microsoft products for IT infrastructure, along with proven capabilities in managing security, domains, cloud storage, firewalls, VPNs, networking, and related areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability. This role requires strong technical proficiency, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency across our IT environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of Microsoft products and technologies, such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Exchange Server, SharePoint, and Intune, to support business operations and user productivity.
  • Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and access controls, to protect against cybersecurity threats and unauthorized access.
  • Administer domain services, including domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and group policies, to ensure seamless authentication, authorization, and resource management across the organization.
  • Configure and maintain cloud storage solutions, such as Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3, or Google Cloud Storage, to provide scalable and reliable data storage for business-critical applications and workloads.
  • Establish and manage VPN connections, site-to-site tunnels, and remote access solutions to enable secure connectivity for remote users, branch offices, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to enhance network speed, reliability, and efficiency, utilizing tools such as monitoring software, SNMP, and packet analysis.
  • Define user configurations, access policies, permissions, and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate levels of access and data security for users at various levels within the organization.
  • Lead the procurement process for IT assets, hardware, software licenses, and maintenance contracts, negotiating with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and delivering value-added services to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, procedures, and standards for IT infrastructure management, security best practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Microsoft products and technologies.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Exchange Server, SharePoint, Intune, and other Microsoft platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and access controls.
  • Experience with cloud storage solutions, networking technologies, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing IT procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and empower team members, drive change, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
